Think of whitewashed fortresses, snow-capped mountains, and deep-forested valleys. Think of monasteries perched on lofty cliffs and fluttering white prayer flags. Add to the picture cheerful people in colorful attire, a fiery chilly-spike cuisine, and you get the general idea of the lovely country of Bhutan. Hornbill festival and rock-contest in Nagaland (Nov 28th – Dec 6th, 2009)

You’ve always known that NE is a hot-bed of Western music and tribal traditions – we’re going to see the two come together in this amazing one of a kind festival in Kohima. The largest gathering of tribes in Nagaland, with each tribe showcasing their own unique heritage, and rock artists battling it out in the annual Rock contest in the middle of the lovely hills of Nagaland. Towering mountains and quiet monasteries  ( April, 2010)

If you are interested in tribal culture or in Buddhist experiences, or if lofty snowy peaks is what you love, Western Arunachal is for you. With the second-largest monastery in the world at Tawang, and the second highest motorable road at 14,000 ft. called the Sela Pass, this is one trip that will make you more than a little breathless!

Birding and wildlife trip ( Jan 9 – 17th, 2010)

You’re a nature enthusiast and love bird-watching and wildlife spotting – hikes and nature trails are what you love to do!   Come with us as we stalk through one of the most bio-diverse regions in the country  – hoping to spot Elephant herds, rhinos grazing in the grasslands, wild buffaloes, gibbons, and as many as 450 bird species, including the Great Hornbill and the endangered white-winged wood duck!
