The trip was a huge success for us – very well done! Particularly liked that all the costs were paid upfront – no need for us to make decisions re lodging/food costs, etc.
Loday, in Bhutan, was EXCELLENT – safe, courteous, helpful .He is a real asset and we realized how important a good driver is – when one is good, we don’t notice all the work he’s doing. Loved that both Kinga and Mirza allowed us to meet their families and brought us into local homes.

Thank you so very much for coordinating such a fantastic trip for us. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute! Nitul was an informative and gracious guide- absolutely perfect for our interests! We got a very very personal insight into Monastic life and their dances. We would recommend him for any visitors interested especially in the Sattras & Majuli Island. Our accommodations were perfect- and La Maison D’Ananda was fabulous. Thanks again for everything- please do give Nitul our best.

Our family had a great time visiting the North East and we are so enchanted that we are planning more visits to Arunachal, Nagaland, Manipur, and Bhutan in the next couple of years. Kausuki was a great host and was full of energy. She took care of us as her own family. The feeling from the moment we landed was that we are traveling with a friend whom we had known for a long time. The vehicle arranged was very comfortable and our hosts at every point were gracious and generous. The places we stayed at Guwahati and other places were nice too. Overall, a very memorable trip that we enjoyed thoroughly. See you folks again.

Trip was great, especially the local guide Mr.Loday was excellent, cordial and had a lot of knowledge which was useful to us. As a place, Bhutan is excellent and would rate as one of my top holiday destinations.

Among all the places I enjoyed the waterfalls in Meghalaya, the living root bridges and the countryside the best (hills and view of Bangladesh). Thank you very much for taking us there! Mirza was a wonderful knowledgeable guide, who also became a dear friend of ours by the end of the trip. He was always helpful, when there were any last minute changes and took care of our individual needs very well. He also took us to many lovely restaurants… Altogether it is was an unforgettable trip with an excellent choice of locations.

I would like to express my thanks to you and your team for organizing a terrific trip for us. It was tough at times but we all did it and are really proud of it. It was certainly one of those life changing moments for us. We pushed several limits and could do it thanks to the fantastic team of guide and porters. I have the utmost respect and admiration for Nandu our guide who was patient and encouraging. Also thank you Kanchuki for organizing this for us. I would say it was pretty smooth.

My family and I went to Assam this January, along with some good friends – we have always been curious about the Northeast and the interesting cultures that inhabit that region (not to mention tales of the one-horned Rhino at Kaziranga!). So, we had Gypsy Feet organize a complete package for us that incorporated Kaziranga, Nameri (near Arunachal Pradesh) and Guwahati. The trip was memorable, well organized and full of experiences that we’ll cherish. From a high-quality guided tour of the wildlife in Kaziranga, a nostalgic river-cruise down the Brahmaputra, chance encounters with wild elephants in Nameri, picnic-ing along the Jia-Boroli, visiting a 5th century temple in Guwahati, to a deeper understanding of the cultural nuances around the river – this trip had it all. Kudos to Gypsy Feet and guides like Pulakesh and Kushal, who went just that extra bit more to make it special. I just loved the whole trip and would heartily recommend it to those who want to sample the Northeast.
