Along

Sitting amidst abundant natural surroundings, Along or Aalo as it is called locally, is a charming little town situated at the confluence of Sipu and Siyom rivers, against the backdrop of verdant hills. It is one of the oldest towns in the region and it is inhabited by the Adi (Gallong) community.

Along is popular not only for trekking and hiking but also for angling and rafting under the hanging bridge on the Siyom River. Surrounded by hills and beautiful orange orchards, this is another exotic nature getaway in Arunachal Pradesh.
