MIZORAM
Mizoram is the southernmost landlocked state sharing borders with three of the seven sister states, namely Tripura, Assam, Manipur. It is a land of majestic blue mountains, thick bamboo forests, clusters of whispering pines and quaint villages with houses on stilts.
Its inhabitants are of diverse tribal origins that share a rich cultural heritage and take much pride in their traditional folk music and dances, the most iconic being the Cheraw ( bamboo) dance.
The state is emerging as a major eco tourism and adventure tourism destination in Northeast India, with ample opportunities for angling, trekking, camping and spelunking amidst Mizoram’s idyllic backdrop.\
